Privacy Policy
Tabsolutely’s developer does not collect, receive, sell, share, or monetize personal data from the extension. There are no extension accounts, analytics, ads, telemetry, or developer-operated backend processing. The website contact and voluntary uninstall feedback forms are separate from the extension. They send the information you choose to provide and, for uninstall feedback, the extension version.

What the extension handles
Tabsolutely processes information inside your browser only to perform the feature you choose. Depending on the module, that can include open-tab titles and URLs, favicons, page dimensions, image and video source URLs and metadata, screenshots, pasted or imported URL and CSV data, user-created stash labels, and a captured tab’s audio stream. Tab audio is processed in memory while the feature is on. Tabsolutely uses the titles, URLs, and favicons of currently open tabs; it does not request the Chrome History permission or read Chrome browsing history.
Storage and Chrome Sync
- Stashed tab groups remain in local Chrome storage on that browser profile. They are not uploaded by Tabsolutely.
- Preferences are mirrored to local storage and Chrome Sync when Chrome makes Sync available. Browser Sync is operated by Google under your Chrome account and settings; Tabsolutely’s developer cannot access it.
- Active audio state, media download progress, and feature hand-offs use temporary session storage and expire with the browser session.
- User-requested screenshots, images, ZIPs, videos, streams, and CSV exports go to the location you choose through Chrome’s Downloads API.
Network access
The extension has no developer backend. Image thumbnails load from their source hosts, and when you request an image copy, image ZIP, or HLS/DASH stream download, Tabsolutely connects directly to the source website or content-delivery network. Authenticated source requests may use browser session credentials when the source site allows it. The source site or CDN receives the request as it normally would; it is never proxied through or received by Tabsolutely’s developer.
Exact per-site media access is the default and Chrome asks in the context of the action. An advanced “Allow media fetches on all websites” control can grant HTTP and HTTPS wildcard access to avoid repeated prompts. Settings can clear every exact and wildcard media grant.
Recipients and business practices
Tabsolutely has no accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry, data sale, or developer-operated backend processing. Chrome Sync is the platform service that can receive eligible preferences, and source websites or CDNs receive only the direct requests needed to perform media actions you choose. Data is not used for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending decisions.
Use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your controls and retention
Delete Stash groups in the Stash page, reset preferences in Tabsolutely Settings, remove optional site access in Settings, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling asks Chrome to remove the extension’s local data. Synced preferences can also be managed through your Chrome Sync controls.
Website contact form and uninstall feedback
The optional contact form collects the name, reply address, topic, and message you enter so the developer can respond to your request. The website sends that information through a developer-operated endpoint to Resend for email delivery, and Cloudflare Email Routing forwards it to the support inbox. The form is not connected to extension activity and is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or marketing.
The optional uninstall feedback form sends only the reason and comment you choose to enter, plus the extension version, when you press Send feedback. It requires no name or email and includes no persistent user identifier, tabs, or settings. Feedback uses the same Resend email delivery as contact messages. The website temporarily uses your IP address in memory to limit form abuse; it is not included in feedback emails.
The website does not keep a database copy of form submissions. Delivered messages remain in the support inbox only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain the support history, or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion through the same contact form.
Policy changes and contact
